At the United Nations General Assembly, in the month of November in 2014, 15 July was declared as the World Youth Skills Day. During the entire week of the 15th of July, to celebrate World Youth Skills Day, WorldSkills usually sets up exhibitions and events at the United Nations High-level Political Forum at the headquarters which is in New York.
To show support for UNESCO’s theme for this day “Learning for life and work” a video campaign was developed to entice and encourage youths, teenagers and millennials from everywhere on the globe to develop selfies and selfie-style videos telling a story or outline by mastering a skill their life has changed.
